Welcome to Jubilee Furniture - so glad you're here!

Hello! And thanks for stopping by the Jubilee Furniture blog where every Friday I post photos of some of the new-to-us things we've received for donation that week. The idea behind the blog is to give you a preview of some of our current inventory in order to help you determine if it's worth your time (which I know is limited with many things filling it up), energy (which seems to get depleted more quickly in the winter - or is it just me?) and possibly money (again which is a limited resource) to head out to the store which is open today (Friday) from 1 to 8 and tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 to 4!

So, without further ado, let's take a look at what's "new" at Jubilee Furniture!

The Holiday Inn in Carol Stream donated a bunch of Sunbeam, 4 cup coffee makers and we've priced them $8 each

We received a wonderful donation this week of a bunch of two-person tables and one-person chairs. *smile* Between the coffee makers and this sea of tables and chairs we were thinking we should open "Cafe Jubilee" and serve up your favorite coffee drink - and on a cold winter day wouldn't that be a perfect compliment with our wonderful FREE cookie selection as you come in our doors - but Cafe Jubilee will have to wait for the time being, alas.

we have 21 one of these laminate top tables which measure 30" x 24" and have a heavy, metal base (these tables ain't easy to knock over) and have priced them $30 each

there are two different style of chairs - one is this Waco brand (vintage) and there are 29 of 'em and are priced $20 each (some of them are pretty beat up)

this Falcon brand is the second style of chair and in better condition than the Waco - and a little more comfortable (in my humble opinion) and they're priced $25 each and we have 19 total

here's a nice vintage table, one leaf with four rolling chairs priced $75

this microsuede gaming chair is designed to sit on the floor (it's not missing any legs) and has a cup holder and the back folds down to make it easy to move around and is priced $95

we received several very nice dressers in this week - here is a set from Lexington - two identical pine dressers $125 each; and a matching night stand for $85

this set is from Bassett and it's (starting top left) a retro chest of drawers for $85; nightstand for $40; and dresser with an amazing mirror (see it peeking over the dresser in the bottom right photo?) for $145 - all have glass covering the top of each piece

here's another set of matching furniture from Bassett - this time mission style - starting top left a beautiful two door end table (sorry, not sure why I was so far away when I took this photo!) for $145; matching gorgeous coffee table for $165; chair w/pegs so you can lower the back and ottoman for $165; and beautiful entertainment center for $245

this is a GORGEOUS McCreary Modern sofa (Macy's, Crate & Barrel and Room and Board all carry McCreary brand furniture) in a blue/brown fabric color that is almost iridescent. The only problem? Three different rips/tears: (starting top right) tear along the top back of the sofa; seam coming apart along one arm; rip along front bottom section of the sofa. Due to these issues this sofa is priced only $125

super clean, excellent condition Early American style Broyhill love seat for $145; matching sleeper sofa for $165

lovely Alexvale green check upholstered side chair for $50

buttery yellow sofa by LT Designs for $85

I love, love, love this sunny yellow striped Smithe love seat for $185

sweet side table for $50 (a bit wobbly)

hand-crafted hall table/storage/display piece for $45

excellent condition over sized sofa has recliners on each end (and it's a wall hugger so it can sit close to the wall and still fully recline) for $195; matching love seat (also in excellent condition and again a wall hugger and both sides recline) for $175

beautiful drop leaf coffee table for $125

oh my goodness - how sweet are these apple holding/collecting boy/girl lamps?! Incredibly sweet! Look at the detail on the shades! Price? $25 each - such a deal!

nice coffee table for $65

gorgeous Room and Board two piece sectional (part of their Clarke collection) in navy blue (it's not black) that retails for $3,200 - our price? - $450 (some fading along back - but otherwise in great condition). The armless piece allows you to create the "L" either way - or use the two pieces separately - very adaptable!

here's another amazing, gorgeous, this-photo-does-not-do-this-sofa-justice, Room and Board sofa - 92" from their Foster collection, retails for $1,399, our price is $345. This sofa has fabulous, sink in comfort!

Thus ends another journey down Jubilee Furniture lane! Whew - almost too much goodness to take in - eh?

Love you, dear reader!
